In a near-future Tokyo, the "Law Prohibiting Excessive Influx into the Capital (commonly known as the Locked City Law)" completely isolates Tokyo with a massive wall, the "Tokyo Wall." The governor declares it "the last bastion protecting the future," loudly proclaiming the birth of a new order. Ten years later, 17-year-old Eiji, from the countryside, dreams of becoming a musician and is making his way through the mountains along the wall, attempting to illegally enter Tokyo. However, the seemingly endless wall continues to block his path. Lost and bewildered, he encounters an elderly former Tokyoite living in the forest, who reveals the secret to crossing the wall: visiting a ramen shop along a closed national highway and becoming "nested"— Conceived from news reports of real-life "walls" that once existed in the world, this original work explores the boundaries between technology and emotion, made possible by the advancement of AI, which has enabled high-dimensional visual expression even on an individual scale.
