About this film

A dying historian, mocked for believing the Earth once had forests, rivers, and clean water, transfers his mind into a robot before his death — with one task: not to save the world himself, but to find someone who will dig for the truth on their own. The robot crosses a dead city and a flawless system that turns out to be a hollow illusion — and finds a stubborn child digging in the sand for water no one believes exists anymore. And also finds the child's own sister, a woman who once ran away in fear from that same truth, and now finally finds the courage to stay. Our answer to the AAIFF 2026 theme, "The Future Worth Living In": it's a future where we protect nature — the earth, the water, every sprout that can still be saved — and protect each other: family, loved ones, even strangers who become something more in a moment of need. Nature doesn't survive without people willing to care for it. And people don't survive without understanding, care, and love for one another.
