Two years since Goku left with Uub, and nobody has seen him since. And the only thing he left behind is a cloud. Goten, nineteen years old, walks out one morning to buy leeks for his mother. He comes home with a tail. In a cave outside the valley there is a Dragon Ball with no star inside it. One of seven prototypes, built long before Shenron by a god who later decided they had been a mistake. They grant anything — no limit, no price, no wording to be clever about. And only a Saiyan with a tail can feel them at all, which right now means one person on Earth, and he was mainly thinking about breakfast. So a boy who has never wanted anything in his life crosses a desert, an ocean, a mountain and a dimension, with a fifty-centimetre robot who is frightened of everything and reviews cooking oil like a sommelier. Somebody else is looking for the seven. He has never thrown a punch in his life, and he has no intention of starting. The complete Season 1, recut as a single film.
